Hi Everyone. These will be RGP's vacation dates... during this time I will not be responding to emails or messages. Any editing that needs to be done or print orders that need to go in, will all be done after my time away - Please keep this in mind when scheduling your sessions.

January 10-15th
February 28-March 3rd
June 8th-17th  { Wedding scheduled for June 14th will still be fulfilled by me as stated in the contract } 
September 12-14th

I am booked for January other than Valentine's minis... which will be the 19th. Details to follow soon.

When I closed off the my 1st year in the photography business, I had photographed tons of families and children but only ten precious newborns. At the end of my second year { 2013}, I have captured 55 amazingly adorable newborns ranging from ages 4 days to 31 days new.

I have had the pleasure of closing out my 2013 business year with over 356 sessions and 5 weddings. This has been an incredible year. I dreamed about having one of my images featured on the Best Newborn Photographers site as well as Newborn Magazine's and this year my goal has been exceeded. RGP was even featured on Best Maternity Photographer's site.  I can count handfuls of times this year I had my work featured... this is such a joy for me. I have grown as a photographer and a small business owner.

The business venture has been fun and a lot of hard work. I have sacrificed a lot of time with my family over the past two years. This past year, I was running nonstop for majority of the year... not having a day off... when I am not shooting, I'm preparing my next session, responding to emails, and phone messages as well as editing all these wonderful sessions. I have spent hours putting together print orders, mailings, deliveries... and at times, I just want to curl up with my kids and watch a movie...

I realized this past year, I do need to spend more time with my family. Family first, then the business. However, I consider this business my baby too. So you are all apart of my family. You are amazing clients and I wouldn't be here with out all of you!

Thank you for everything... I cannot wait to see what 2014 brings...

Sarah & Matt's Baby Shower | Surprise Maternity Photoshoot | Cleveland Botanical Gardens | Rachel Good Photography

When Sarah's sister emailed me and asked if I would surprise her sister with a photo shoot for their baby shower, I jumped on the chance. This was a beautiful location, especially on a cold and rainy November afternoon here in Cleveland. 

Matt and Sarah's baby shower was held at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. The theme, Mustaches. They had wonderful food, cake was from Luna's Bakery { delicious }, they even had a create your own baby onesie station { great idea! }  These perfect touches and details, guests, food, gifts, and a maternity shoot was all captured by Rachel Good Photography.

Miss Isabella { 9 days new } | Cleveland newborn photographer | Rachel Good Photography

I had the pleasure of meeting this little girl, 2x before we had our newborn session... Her mother booked me for her maternity session, 5 minutes into the session, it rained. So we tried for another date, it rained again, but only for a short minute. 

Then finally the day arrived when Frances' emailed me telling me this beautiful girl was born. She was awake for majority of her session... I think she slept for maybe 5 minutes, but she was great.

Jonathan's One | First Year of Life Client | Cleveland Baby & Child Photographer | Rachel Good Photography

I met Jonathan over 7 months ago for his 3 month portraits.. and I have had the pleasure of photographing him til his 1st birthday. He normally held back a lot on the smiles with each session, but this final one, he was a riot.

Julie | Maternity Session

This couple was so much fun. Julie sent me some pictures of poses she wanted for her session and we went with it from there. The session lasted an additional hour because we simply lost track of time. 

After reviewing the images Julie sent me this past week, and seeing it was going to be 30 degrees outside this weekend... we decided to do the session indoors.

Meet 5 day new, Lexi. I met her mom and dad a little while back, they are actually cousins of my husband's best friend 

{ the best man at our wedding and our son's godfather }. 

Christine contacted me right after the annual family/friend  Christmas Party. 

They originally booked me for L's 1st year of life and a maternity session last minute, and good thing we did, she had Lexi a week after....

Miss Lexi was originally due around Easter time... so I planned on an Easter theme,  but she wanted to make it here before St. Patty's day. So we decided to take her mom's "props" from the baby shower and use them as a St. Patty's day image:

Miss Madison was a typical two year old in the studio last weekend... distracted by the camera, lights, and of course the  props aka toys.

Image count varies due to the newborn, wants and desires of the parents, sibling or parent shots, etc I try to give every client one image of every pose we do, unless  I am not fully satisfied with the look of the image before, during or post editing - Please trust my judgement

Newborns are best photographed during their first week of life. This time is when they sleep the most and you can position them in those cute poses. I can still see newborns after this mark, however, they tend to be a little fussier.

For No additional charge - I bring backdrops, props, etc. Also there are black and white and sepia tones and color selection images too. I do not charge for touch ups, such as pinkish skin, baby blemishes, etc.

Sneak peaks are shown via Facebook or online gallery. You will be shown 1-3 images within 48 hrs of your session.
Every session requires a deposit of $100, the remainder balance is due one week prior to your session. If balance is not paid in full by that mark, your session will be canceled and your deposit will be forfeited.
